This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing your use of the Field Forge platform and related services (the "Service") provided by Field Forge Limited (company number NI715154). This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update this AUP from time to time and will notify you of material changes.

1. General Principles

You agree to use the Service:

Only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Only for legitimate business purposes related to field service management, job quoting, and related operations
In a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Service by, any other user

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Service to:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities

Conduct any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
Store, distribute, or transmit any material that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful
Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime
Violate any person's privacy rights or data protection laws
Harass, threaten, or intimidate any person

2.2 Technical Abuse

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems connected to the Service
Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable burden on the Service or its infrastructure
Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our written permission
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation

2.3 Misuse of AI Features

Use the AI features to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or intended to deceive
Deliberately input false or manipulated data to exploit AI outputs
Use AI-generated quotes or content without appropriate human review
Attempt to extract or reverse engineer the AI models or their training data
Use the AI features for any purpose unrelated to field service quoting and job management

2.4 Data Misuse

Upload or store personal data for which you do not have a lawful basis to process
Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing or spam
Share login credentials with unauthorised individuals
Access or attempt to access data belonging to other companies or users
Export or scrape data from the Service in bulk for purposes unrelated to your business

2.5 Commercial Misuse

Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
Use the Service to develop a competing product or service
Benchmark the Service for competitive purposes without our written consent
Exceed the seat limits or usage restrictions of your Subscription plan

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, including activity by your team members and any users you authorise
You must ensure that all Users on your Company Account are aware of and comply with this AUP
You must keep your login credentials secure and not share them with unauthorised persons
You must promptly report any suspected security breaches or violations of this AUP to contact@fieldforge.io

4. Consequences of Violation

If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

Issue a written warning
Temporarily suspend your access to the Service
Permanently terminate your Account
Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP
Report the violation to relevant law enforcement authorities
Take legal action to recover costs and damages

We will endeavour to provide notice and an opportunity to remedy minor violations before taking action, but we reserve the right to act immediately where necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to contact@fieldforge.io. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
