Yes. Field engineers clock in and out against specific jobs from their mobile device, with location captured at clock-in and clock-out and breaks paused and resumed. Time is valued at the engineer’s hourly cost and flows into job costing, and you can review timesheets and compare estimated vs actual hours for payroll and margin tracking.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your data remains accessible for export during a grace period after cancellation.

Does Field Forge support multi-site and multi-branch management?

Yes. You can manage multiple client sites, each with their own address, contacts, and job history. The platform is designed for teams that operate across many locations, from single-branch contractors to multi-site facilities management companies.

Does Field Forge support applications for payment and retention?

Yes. Field Forge supports JCT-style applications for payment as a first-class workflow. You claim by percentage complete across each scope line, retention is held automatically (5% by default) and released 50% at practical completion and 50% at the end of the defects period, and cumulative claims are validated against what was previously certified. The domestic reverse charge and CIS are handled, and every figure is calculated deterministically.

Can Field Forge read supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders?

Yes. Upload a supplier invoice as a PDF, photo, or scan and AI extracts the lines, three-way matches them to the purchase order, and flags any cost or quantity variance before you pay. Lines not on the PO are surfaced to keep, query, or remove, and any line can be added to your parts catalogue at the billed price in one click. AI only reads and matches — all financial figures are calculated by the system.

Can I build custom forms and digital job sheets?

Yes. A drag-and-drop form builder lets you create forms and job sheets with the fields you need, including signature fields and conditional logic, and save them as templates. Engineers complete them on any phone or tablet, attach photos, capture signatures on site, and every submission is linked to the relevant job, customer, site, contract, or asset.

Is there a customer portal?

Yes. Field Forge includes a branded customer portal where clients can approve or decline quotes, track job progress and status, view their invoices and payment status, and submit new work order requests — which cuts the email back-and-forth and helps quotes get signed off faster.

Can I see my engineers on a live map?

Yes. Field Forge plots your jobs and, with consent, your engineers in real time on a live map, alongside customer sites and asset locations. You can dispatch the nearest available engineer to urgent work, and geolocated clock-in records attendance on site. Tracking is opt-in with active, paused, and off-shift states.
